Congratulations to our swimmers who participated in the Canandaigua Open Water Swim on Saturday July 19, 2008.

Teammates who swam were Gen. Dave, Jill, Ken, Kay, Denise L, Betty, Bill B, Diana, Kelsee; also the Platt-Edgar family, Tammela, Terry and Dianne as well as the McVey Clan: George, Pam, Mary, Connie, Amy, Hughes, Heather and Madeline. Celia and Stewart; we missed you.

2008 Canandaigua Annual Open Water Swim: 0.5 mi, 1 and 2 mi

The annual Canandaigua Lake Swim will be held Saturday July 19 at Kershaw Park in Canandaigua. Swimmers may choose a 0.5, 1 or 2 mile option. Prentry deadline ($15) is July 14; deck entries are accepted ($20) with a copy of your USMS card. There is also a post-swim picnic at no extra charge. Entry form can be found here.

2007 Rochester Marathon - Team Results

There were over 2000 competitors in this year's Rochester Marathon. The full marathon saw 518 finishers including: (place in age group)

    Eric Grimm (M40-44)   (3) 3:02.40
    Mike Dunn (M50-54) (5) 3:33.36
    Mike Foster (M35-39) (14) 3:34.37

The half-marathon had over 1000 finishers including: (place in age group)

Bill B (M50-54) (10) 1:46.04
Tom B (M50-54) (44) 2:04.19 [Both beat Mayor Duffy]
